Survive This: Black Cat

Here is Black Cat under my control in Survival Mode. I really need more practice with the character. I really like her a lot. She is fun to use and really well made.

I wanted to see who would win in a fight in MUGEN: The girl from the Ring or the White Queen. I think that if they really fought, the girl from the Ring would win because she has supernatural abilities. The White Queen would be overwhelmed. Here is how the fight played out in  MUGEN.

Survive This: Batman

I wanted to see how well I could do with Batman in Mugen's survival mode. I played with the Infinity Mugen Team's version and then with Alucard's version. I did better with IMT's version but I expect it's because I need to practice more with Alucard's version. Here are the Videos.

I wondered who would win in a fight Emma Frost (aka White Queen) or Wonder Woman? In my opinion, Emma's telepathic powers would make her a formidable opponent for Wonder Woman. Ultimately, I think Wonder Woman could break through whatever illusion or forces White Queen would use and flick her finger against White Queen's forehead, ending the confrontation decisively. I staged a fight in MUGEN and here it is.

Survive This: Superman

I decided to use Superman to try to to see how long I can stand in Survival Mode. I really like this character it is easy to use him with great deal of effectiveness.

I have heard talk of running mugen on the PS3. How? Well the PS3 can run Linux and mugen can run on Linux. So although I can't try this out now ( and I really would)  it makes sense to me that it would work.

Mugen Madness v2.0

Back in the Spring, Favorite Fiction Blog and I ran a unique AI tournament where messageboard posters selected a character from a pool provided to represent them in a fighting tournament.

This is version 2.0, but this time it is exclusive to CVG United. All you have to do is pick a character to represent you and then he will fight through a bracket of 15 other (16 in total) characters who are representing someone else.

The winner will then get to decide a couple of pieces of content for Favorite Fiction blog, and anything else we can think of to help memorize the occasion.

But to choose a character, it is first come, first serve and only one character can be represented at a time. JDubbsIII was allowed to pick first due to his incredible help with the Pick 6 contest and Sic-1 was offered the choice to allow Ferroman to represent him due to a request of such during the first Mugen Madness. Mugen: White Queen Master List

By now I'm certain you have heard that ZVitor's Emma Frost has been released. All I can say is that it is awesome. She looks wonderful and has wide range of moves representing both her comic book/cartoon incarnation and you are allowed to wield the power she displayed in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.She turned her body diamond-hard. Unfortunately, I need a lot of more practice with the character to really maximize it . If you have not downloaded it yet, I think you should get it as soon as possible. I have found only one other version of the White Queen for Mugen and ZVitor's is the best of the two.

For this edition of "Surve This", I took Loganir's Wonder Woman and tried to see how long I could last in Survival Mode. I tend to be able to last a while with Wonder Woman, at times I've been able to clear the whole Arcade mode at times. Here is my video:

Grude Match: Venom vs Joker

So who would win? Venom or Joker? Both are completely crazy. Venom has morals...he only kills people who get in his way of killing Spider-man. Joker kills everyone and wants to kill Batman after proving he is better and smarter. For this reason, I'd say that Venom is more of a threat to only Spider-man. Joker is a threat to all life. However, in terms of power, Venom wins hands down and I think that Venom would win.

As far as I can remember this matchup has never happened in the comic books, yet I still wonder what would happen if the Green Goblin fought Venom. I mean it's obvious what they would fight over...who would have the most right kill Spider-man. Venom wants to eat Spider-man's brains and Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) wants to prove that he is smarter and more powerful than Spider-man. Who ever wins, Spider-man would have his work cut out for him because both of these guys hate him. In my opinion, Venom would win in a real fight. Here is the fight in MUGEN.
