I've recently found another version of Mai Shuranui from the King of Fighters series.  I'm not sure if this one is an update but I'm certain that I don't already have this version. Take a look.

Grudge Match - Supergirl vs Mai Shiranui

Now, here is another match I would love to see. There is no way Mai could win but it would still be fun to see. Here is how such a fight could play out in MUGEN

Grude Match - Kasumi vs Mai Shiranui

I like both these characters but I think Kasumui has more discipline so she would win in a knockdown fight. I decided to stage a fight in MUGEN. This is the outcome.

Grudge Match: Ms Marvel vs Mai Shiranui

I think that is Ms Marvel ever went up against Mai I think Carol would dominated because of sheer power. I've got to admit I'd still would want to see it however. May be Mai could find a way to win....naah.

If Mai fought Emma Frost, I think she could beat Emma. She would have to hit Emma fast or it could all end in a mind blast. Here is a recorded match.

Grudge Match: Baiken vs Mai Shiranui

If Baiken fought Mai, I think it would be a fairly even fight. Mai would have to be serious or Baiken would crush her. I decided to stage a fight in MUGEN to see what would happen!

Grudge Match: Ella vs Mai Shiranui

Now I know that this would be an interesting fight. I'm afraid that Mai may be at a disadvantage because Ella's powers seem to be supernatural. I decided to stage a fight in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: Mai Shiranui vs Psylocke

I admit, I'm not sure who would win such a fight between Mai Shiranui versus Psylocke. In order for Mai to win, she would have to Psylocke down hard and quickly because otherwise I think Psylocke's telepathic powers would give a most definite edge. So I will say that all things being equal, Psylocke would win this hands down. What do the rest of you think?

Grudge Match: Cammy vs Mai Shiranui

Now I really think a fight between Mai and Cammy would be one for the ages. I'm not sure who would win but if I had to pick one I think Mai would win. Her moves are really flashy and I don't think Cammy could hold her own in a long battle.

Grudge Match: Mai Shiranui vs Wonder Woman

I think I would love to see an animated fight between Wonder Woman and Mai Shiranui. Who would win? Fortunately we have MUGEN to test out different scenarios. In my opinion, Mai is easy to look at but she doesn't have the same fighting skills as Wonder Woman. I just don't see how Mai could win in a real fight. Here is a fight I staged in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: Mai Shiranui vs Chun Li

So I've been wondering if Mai Shiranui from SNK's fighting games could beat Chun Li from Capcom's. I think it would be a close fight. But I think Chun Li Would ultimately win. She has better energy-based fighting moves.

Mugen: Mai Shiranui

Mai Shiranui is one of the most popular female fighters in video games. Could it be her personality? Her fighting skills? Or her outfits? Take your pick. There are several versions of her for MUGEN. I doubt that I have all of them. Her moves are falshy and always interesting to watch...especially for adolescent boys such as I was when I first encountered the Character. The Street Fighter craze had started and companies like SNK were attempting to make their characters stand out. Mai certainly does stand out.
