Bizarro_Toro wanted to get involved with CVG Fest by making his very first stage, Irons Basement Workshop for his awesome Steel character. The stage has numerous animations and you will see a lot more than just what is shown in the image as far as scenery. If none of you ever tried B.Orchid originally, well, now is your chance. Some of the most beautiful sprite work (all from scratch by ahrimanes) went into making her. CVG Fest comes out of its 2-day hiatus to bring you one of the most beautifully sprited characters you will ever see. Not only is CVG Friend Ahrimanes very talented, but every single sprite he made for this character (and all of his chars) is made completely from scratch. I hope you all understand the passion and dedication that takes. His Elektra is most notable for her appearances in the Streets of Rage video game series, but who needs that when you have her in Mugen. Who would win if the Green Lanterns Guy Gardner and John Stewart fought? My money is on John.. John's smarter and more disciplined. No way I think Gardner could beat him.

CVG's Thanksgiving, Day 2

Lots of stuff yesterday, so I hope you had as much fun as we did. I like the new banners, board icons and those new games. Not to mention the videos looked great too. And every single one of those stage updates by Jor El were incredible. Below you will see what is on tap for today.

Los Tha Don, our GFX Admin not only makes incredible avatars (go request one now from him) and banners, but he has also taken to making stages. His favorite style of stage creation is in Hi-Res and adding a distant aspect so as more of the stage can be seen and to give a better look. His very first stage in this manner is his TMNT Dojo. Check out this amazing video of Supergirl by Toni. He was kind enough to make this exclusively for our party. JasonTodd has told us he wants to run a unique contest for the rest of the year. He will choose one general forum member who has proven themselves to be the most active regarding a presence here at CVG United and allow them to choose a comic character that he will then create. Early on in CVG United's history, we formed a pretty tight relationship with Nestor and his Capcom Fighting Allstars project. This has not only led to his both projects sharing a couple characters in the future but him allowing us to host an exciting recent release of his, Viewtiful Joe. Thank you Nestor! Welcome to our Thanksgiving Release Celebration!

We are so glad you came by our corner of the internet to check us out. This first day will provide prelude to a memorable occasion as you'll get all kinds of goodies from us.

Our biggest release(s) for the day involves our brand new Team CVG member, Jor El. We are so fortunate to have him be a part of our team as he's always been considered a true legend regarding making comic centric Mugen stages. He took it upon himself to not only allow us to host his stages, but to also update them just for us.
