Grudge Match - Iron Man vs War Machine

I like both Iron Man and War Machine very much. They are friends. Equals. Yet at times like all friends sometimes they disagree. Unlike most friendships they're disagreements tend to become literally explosives. It always awesome to see them together whether or not they are fighting alongside or against each other.

Grudge Match - Iron Man vs Cyborg

So who wins: Cyborg or Iron Man? I think Iron Man would win because he has better technology. I wanted to see who would win. This version of Iron Man is from the Infinity Mugen Team.

Grudge Match: Iron Man vs Captain America

Although Iron Man and Captain America are allies they came to blows twice during the Marvel Civil War. back in 2006. It was a good story.. In the first battle Iron Man nearly killed Cap. In the second, Cap gave up when he realized that innocent people were being caught up into fight between the two fractions.  But what would happen if they both went all out?  I think Captain America could win.  I mean it won't be pretty, but i think he would find a way. Grudge Match: Lex Luthor vs Iron Man

I think Tony Stark is far more better at making battle armor than Lex is. Therefore, he'll beat him. Here is a video scenario!

Grudge Match: Superman vs Iron Man

I really like Iron Man, but I can't come up with a scenario that Iron Man can beat Superman unless he can incorporate kryptonite into his armor. And I know he could do that. Here is a scenario staged in MUGEN

I decided to try out one of my favorite version of Iron Man in MUGEN's survival mode. This version is great and has a lot of moves that have not been seen in the Capcom VS series in which Iron Man Appeared.

Grudge Match - Superman vs Iron Man

I know the answer seems obvious to the question of if Iron Man can beat Superman. But let's give Tony Stark the one piece of information he would need to win: the fact that Superman's powers are lessened under the light of a red sun! Given this, I'm sure Tony could on the fly modify his energy weapons to operate in the same energy pattern as red sun and kick Superman's big red...oh will, I staged a fight under computer control and what follows is what I got.

Grudge Match: Hulk vs Iron Man

It's always fun to watch these two throw down. However, Iron Man almost never wins these and although I really like Iron Man, I can't say I'm surprised to see that Iron Man does not win often. I mean it doesn't matter powerful his armor makes him, Iron Man cannot match the fact that the more angry the Hulk becomes the stronger the Hulk becomes! Here is a scenario in MUGEN.

Survive This: Magus' Iron Man

Magus' Iron Man is one of the best characters for MUGEN. I enjoy playing with it. I decided to try to and see how far I could get in Survival mode.

Survive This: Iron Lantern

Iron Lantern is a great character from the amalgam story arc combining Iron Man and Green Lantern. I took the character through the MUGEN survival mode.This version is a whole lot of fun!

Grudge Match: Steel vs Iron Man

I admit I'm torn. It's hard for me to pick who would win in fight between Steel and Iron Man.I love both characters. It would be an awesome fight. I'm just not sure who to root for.

Grudge Match: Iron Man vs Guyver

I'm not sure how I feel about this particular match up, but I sure would like to see it. I'm not sure how Tony would handle fighting the alien armor of the Guyver. I think that because the Guyver is partly organic, Sho might have an edge. I know when it comes to arsenal variety, Iron Man has the edge. So I'm not really sure who would win, but that is definitely something I would like to see. I stage a fight in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: Iron Man vs Tekkaman

Personally, I think Iron Man would beat Tekkaman in an open fight. I think that Tony would have a problem with Tekkaman Blade but he would own the first one. Here is a fight I staged in Mugen.

Iron Man is well represented in MUGEN. If you don't have Iron Man for Mugen I suggest getting Magus' and Infinity Mugen Teams' versions. Let me know if you know of any others.

Grudge Match: Batman vs Iron Man

An Iron Man throw-down with Batman is interesting because you can see the conflict on so many different levels. Not just 2 guys in costumes slugging it out. Even A fight between their civilian identities would be interesting.

1. Who has more money? Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne?
2, Which is the best company? Stark's? or Wayne Tech?
3. Who has the best toys?
4. Who is smarter?

In my opinion if they got into a fight the only way Iron Man could be sure he can win is if he made sure to take Batman out quickly. No messing around because eventually, Batman would figure out a way to win. I decided to stage a fight in MUGEN to see what I come up with. I used Alucard's Batman vs Infinity Mugen Teams' MVC2 Iron Man.

We were all graced by an under the radar release of Iron Man Z recently by 1%. I am assuming he did all the codes and sprites as there were no other names listed, plus the documentation was all in another language.

He is obviously edited from open source Iron Man sprites, but 1% did a great job in making the character his own while at the same time making you think what would have happened if Tony Stark was actually a Tokyo businessman. Why do I say this, check the sounds. They audio comes in very crisp and clean, including the spoken parts, its just I have no idea what he is saying because its in Japanese.

I love the moves he has going on as it seems like most of them were customized in some way or another. I wish I could go more indepth about them, but I cannot follow the little documentation there was, so have to go solely off what I can see visually. So that said, I'll save those discussion bits for the video annotations. But so you know, there are a lot of unique things going on and I love it. Fortunately, every move was shown except for a grab and charge attack where he takes the opponent on a ride across the length of the stage before slamming in a massive impact.

There are a couple issues going on. As stated again, the readme and .def files do not help at all, so you have to figure out all the moves on your own. This is even more difficult as apparently he is a 3-button controlled character. Maybe for some of you that is no big deal, but to me, I've never dealt with such a thing, so I felt a bit out of place gameplay-wise. In fact, there were some moves that I hve no idea how to do because of this configuration. I'm also not a fan of his walk animations, both forward and backwards, as he just seems like he's going in slow motion.

I like the character a ton, even with those minor things and I wholeheartedly recommend to you all to download him as soon as you can.
