Grudge Match: Wonder Woman vs. Captain America..

Tommy Tejeda's art inspired this question: Who would win? Wonder Woman? or Captain America?  Personally, I think that if Wonder Woman underestimates Captain America, he could win this one. Let's see what a MUGEN AI battle turns up.

Grudge Match: Captain America vs Red Skull

I've always liked the rivalry between Captain America and Red Skull - Freedom verse Fascistic tyranny. Easy to know who to root for! I remember in Captain America Vo1 1; #350 the Red Skull said his American Dream was denying everyone else theirs.I really enjoy watching these two mix it up. Here is a scenario in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: He-Man vs Captain America

Could Captain America beat He-Man? I think he could. Captain America has faced super-powerful opponents all the time. It's what he does. I doubt that Captain America would even be intimidated. He'd just figure out how to beat him. Here is a scenario in MUGEN

Grudge Match: Iron Man vs Captain America

Although Iron Man and Captain America are allies they came to blows twice during the Marvel Civil War. back in 2006. It was a good story.. In the first battle Iron Man nearly killed Cap. In the second, Cap gave up when he realized that innocent people were being caught up into fight between the two fractions.  But what would happen if they both went all out?  I think Captain America could win.  I mean it won't be pretty, but i think he would find a way. Here is a fight in MUGEN.

Grudge Match - Deadpool vs Captain America (Bucky)

Here is a great matchup. Who would win - Bucky or Deadpool. I think Deadpool would win. Here is a likely scenario.

Grudge Match: Captain America vs Punisher

I think Captain America would handle the Punisher easily. And won't kill him to boot. Frank Castle is good, but he ain't that good! I staged a possible scenario in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: Green Arrow (Classic) vs Captain America

So what if Green Arrow faced the original Captain America? I doubt he'd ever have a chance at winning. Here is a scenario staged in MUGEN with both characters under AI control.

Grudge Match: Green Arrow (Classic) vs Captain America (Bucky)

What would happen if Green Arrow fought Bucky? I think ultimately Bucky would win because he would fight harder in my opinion. Here is a scenario in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: Batman & Superman vs Captain America & Thor

I think a two-on-two battle royal between Batman and Superman versus Captain America and Thor would be epic. Ijavascript:void(0) think either side could win. This is too close to call. I mean that as long as Thor stayed on Superman, Captain America would be able to challenge and perhaps even beat Batman. I decided to stage couple of fights in MUGEN. I used the same versions of Thor (Loganir), Superman (kal-el), and Captain America (MVC2), but I used Spiderbat's Batman in the first one and Alucard's Batman in the first one.

Grudge Match: Isaiah Bradley vs Captain America (Bucky)

Could Isaiah beat Bucky! I think Bucky's training would be the key here and he would win. But it's still a toss up because Isaiah has more than proven himself time and again. He'll do what it takes. He could win such a fight. Here is what such a battle could look like.

Grudge Match: Captain America vs Superman

I realize under normal circumstances there is no way  Captain America can beat Superman, however if he had to, Captain America would still try. Assuming that Superman's invulnerability (let's say Batman loans him some Kryptonite) is mitagated I think Captain America's fighting skills would win out.

Grudge Match: Captain America vs Captain America

Okay, I admit that the real Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes may be able to work out almost any conflict without coming to blows (provided that neither were controlled in some way)...but what fun would that be? I wandered who would win if they fought. In my opinion, Steve Rogers - the original Captain America would win. I mean he trained Buckey and not only that Steve could win without killing Bucky. Here is a scenario done in MUGEN.

Alienmorph, Magus, and Verz released their Captain America (Bucky version) for MUGEN! This character is awesome and in no way is it just the same old Captain America repainted in different sprites. It is fun and if you have not downloaded it yet I greatly think you should do so soon as possible.

I've just seen the announcement at Scruffy Dragon Productions that Verz, Alienmorph & Magus have released their version of the new Captain America (Bucky Barnes. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to record a video of the character during game play but along with the character a video was released. Survive this: Captain America

There are several great versions of Captain America for Mugen. Here is me using my favorite, to steam roll over several characters in Survival mode. I think I do fairly well with Captain America because I am used to him from playing Marvel Superheroes and the Marvel vs Capcom games.

Grudge Match: Isaiah Bradley vs Captain America

I wonder what would happen if Isaiah fought Captain America. To be fair, I doubt such a fight would ever happen because Captain America recognizes and respects Isaiah. However if there ever was a throw down, I think  Captain America would win because his powers are more stable and he is better trained and experienced. Here is a fight staged in MUGEN.

Mugen Super Soldier

I like this character. I steam rolled all my opponents fairly quickly. I had fun playing with Super soldier. It felt like being Captain America with Superman's powers which is how I envisioned the character. The SGM Team did a great job. In the character's Readme file it was said that some people would think that it was overpowered but I don't think so. This character should be in your MUGEN deck.
