Today, Capcom released the "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" App on the App Store for iPhone and iPod touch. Introducing a brand new control style using the innovative “Flick Button,” the "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" App allows players to play this classic fighting game on the go. The “Flick Button” mechanic introduces an easy way for players to access the more advanced attacks in "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" with a fast swipe.
The "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" App has the same features as previously released versions of the title, including the impressive 56 character roster, the game changing “Variable System” and all of the powerful attacks that the favorite characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes have to offer.

Mugen for Mobile Devices?!

I recently came across a Facebook page containing some amazing information of Mugen running on a iPhone! And there are videos as well. It also seems to have a version running on Android as well. I don't know its real or a hoax but if anyone has any further information please leave a comment.

Metal Gear Solid for IPhone!?

Konomi is about to release Metal Gear Solid for the IPhone and it looks great. I read about it on the G4TV blog:

Konami have announced the arrival of the full version of Metal Gear Solid Touch for the iPhone and iPod Touch, available now at the App Store. Set in the world of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, the game unfolds over five chapters and twenty stages, as you help Old Snake in his missions. Returning are old favorites like the remainder of the "B&B Corps" and the Gekko, as well as new characters with new abilities to keep you challenged.

You will also interact with the game in a whole new, tactile way, including shaking the phone at certain points, to finish the game. Once all 20 stages have been cleared, a Survival Mode is unlocked that will allow you to skip the cutscenes and just play the game. For those of you who bought the original, smaller version of the game, the upgrade to the full version will be free. Also, a version that will allow users to sample the game, called Metal Gear Solid Touch Lite, will be available soon, and will be free.
