MUGEN: Black Cat Update

Recently there was an update to the Black Cat character.  A good character to be sure. Just when I thought that it would could not get better, this version comes out. I tried it out and thoroughly  enjoyed myself. I think that you should try this one out if you haven't already.

Grudge Match: Catwoman vs Black Cat

I think that Catwoman would not really be able to beat Black Cat. I think that in a real fight it would go to Black Cat. Not say that there is no way Catwoman could not win. She is more crafty and strategic.I decided to take as look and stage a fight in MUGEN to see what could happen.

Grudge Match: Batman & Catwoman vs Spider-Man & Black Cat

I've always wondered who would win if Batman and Catwoman (who don't have superpowers) fought Spider-man and Black Cat. In my opinion Spider-man and Black Cat would win. Just my opinion, but that is what I think. Regardless who won, it's a fight I would like to see. I decided to see what it would look like in MUGEN.

Grudge Match - Supergirl vs Black Cat

I also don't think Black Cat could beat Supergirl but I admit it would be fun watching her try. I decided to see if I could try staging a fight in MUGEN

Grudge Match: Batman & Batgirl vs Spider-man and Black Cat

Okay in a team battle, I think Spider-man and Black Cat would win in a spontaneous all-out fight. However if Batman has time to plan, I doubt that he and Batgirl would loose. I decided to see how it would play out in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: Black Cat vs White Queen

I was wondering who would win: Black Cat or White Queen in a fight? My money is on Black Cat if she can act fast enough to cut down Emma. I think her "Bad luck" powers could also give the Black Cat an edge if she exploited properly. Here is a fight I staged in Mugen

Survive This: Black Cat

Here is Black Cat under my control in Survival Mode. I really need more practice with the character. I really like her a lot. She is fun to use and really well made.

Grudge Match: Black Cat vs Elena

In a fight between Elena and Black Cat, I think that Black Cat would most likely win most of the time, but there is a possibility that she could loose to Elena. Heres ia fight I staged in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: Wonder Woman vs Black Cat

If the Black Cat ever fought Wonder Woman I have to admit that although I like Black Cat I don't see any way she could beat Wonder Woman. She would loose. I thought I'd pit them together in MUGEN.

Marvel Divas

I came across a post on the Comic By Comic blog announcing a new book called Marvel Divas. It will be written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa says:

“The idea behind the series was to have some sudsy fun and lift the curtain a bit and take a peep at some of our most fabulous super heroines. In the series, they're an unlikely foursome of friends--Black Cat, Hell Cat, Firestar, and Photon--with TWO things in common: They're all leading double-lives and they're all having romantic trouble. The pitch started as "Sex and the City" in the Marvel Universe, and there's definitely that "naughty" element to it, but I also think the series is doing to a deeper place, asking question about what it means...truly means...to be a woman in an industry dominated by testosterone and guns. (And I mean both the super hero industry and the comic book industry.) But mostly it's just a lot of hot fun.”

I like the premise. I may have to read this one!

Mugen: Black Cat

On one of my favorite mugen blog sites, there now exists the character Black Cat for download. I really have always liked this character because of her connection Spider-man. She started out as a cat buggerler (pun intended) and thief whom Spider-man had to stop. She eventually reformed and became his partner and girlfriend. After they broke up, she remained a hero and they team-up from time to time. I've tested this version of Black Cat through its paces and put the video below.

This is much improved over the version I had previously. She has way more cooler moves. And much more fun to fight with and against.
