Survive This - Ryu

Ryu is one of my favorite characters of the Street Fighter franchise. So I decided to pick one of my favorite versions in MUGEN and see how long I can last in survival mode. This version fun to play!

Mugen: Deejay

DeeJay is an awesome character that I have really enjoyed using for a long time - way back with Super Street Fighter II. I had never seen capoeira - the Afro-Carribean martial art - captured in as video game before. I love using him. He has powerful kicks and grapple moves. Thankfully there are at least 2 versions of him in MUGEN.

The last version on my list is the one to add to your mugen. It is a lot of fun and I really liked fighting with it. It reminded me of what it feels like to play with Deejay in the Street Fighter games.

Grudge Match: Sakura Vs Cammy

So what happens when two of Capcom's best characters go up against one another. I'm not sure, but I wanna see it. I think that Cammy would win. She is older and I think more experienced. Here is the fight I staged in MUGEN

Mugen: Akuma - Update

Akuma is the "big bad" of the Street fighter series. Just when I thought M. Bison was the most evil Akuma comes out. The thing that is really creepy is that he is very similar to Ryu and Ken. I'm not sure if he is supposed to be his teacher or fellow rival. I have found a few versions of him for MUGEN. In Japan, he is also known as Gouki.

Mugen: Ryu

I have been playing Street Fighter ever since the first game. One of the constants between all the games in Capcom's series of fighting games is the character known as Ryu. Ryu is the go-to-guy for newbies to the fighting game genre. If you can become sufficiently good enough to be able to fight with Ryu, you can pick up and learn how to use just about any character in any fighting game. I love the way Ryu fights and all his moves. He has appeared in many games and has had different tweaks to his appearance and abilites. It's no surprise that there are many different version of him in MUGEN. Most of these I got before I started this blog, so i don't know where I originally got them from. If you know who the authors were for any of the characters listed below and a more appropriate place to download them from please leave a comment below.
