MUGEN: Batman Beyond Update

I like the update for Batman Beyond. Just when I thought that it could not get anymore fun!

Grudge Match: Batman & Batman Beyond vs Spider-man & Spider-man 2099

So I wondered if Batman today teamed up with Batman Beyond and fought Spider-man and Spider-man 2099 who would win? I think the Spider-mans could do it if they moved quickly and decisively. Here are a couple scenarios with my favorite versions of Batman (Alucard's and Spiderbat's)

Grudge Match: Batman Beyond vs Robin

I'd like to see Batman Beyond fight the Tim Drake version of Robin. It would be fun to see. I think that ultimately Batman Beyond would win such a fight. See what happens in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: Batman Beyond vs Nightwing

I would love to see how Batman Beyond would stack up against Nightwing in his prime. Thankfully we can imagine it with MUGEN. If there were a real fight I think Nightwing would find a way to win.

Grudge Match: Batman Beyond vs Joker TAS

One of my favorite animated films is Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Can you believe that it came out 10 years ago?! I decided what would happen if I stage such a battle in MUGEN.

Survive This: Batman Beyond

Image via Wikipedia

Batman Beyond is one of those characters that I love because it captures the television series perfectly. It manages to put you in the Bat-suit.  I wanted to see how well I could do in survival mode and the conclusion I came to is that I need a lot more practice, but that is going to be a lot of fun.

Grude Match: Batman Beyond vs Spider-man 2099

When I first saw Batman Beyond on television, I wondered if he could win head to head against Spider-man future counterpart? I think the answer is yes. I think the new Batman's gadget and fighting style would more than make up for Spider-man 2099's superpowers. On top of that, of the two men, Terry as Batman is a much better fighter than Spider-man 2099's Miguel O'Hara. I also think the fight would be quick. Thanks to MUGEN we can actually stage such a fight.

Mugen: Batman Beyond

Now here is an exciting character just released by Alexiq and Spiderbat: Batman Beyond.  I've been waiting for a good version of Batman Beyond for MUGEN and it is finally here. Batman Beyond was a television series that imagined a future where Bruce Wayne had grown to old to be Batman and young man takes over. It was a great series and it is fun to finally to be able to use him in MUGEN. Download him.

CVG United Preview Week Day 2

Wow, how insane was yesterday. Yes, we could have spread some of that stuff out a little more, but since we are trying to impress potential new people to join, we wanted to go all out on the first day.

We kick things off with showing an exclusive video from CVG United's Legends of the Dark Knight Project. The first thing you will notice is a beta of the Screenpack being created by Shulbocka. Then the hits just keep coming flashing character after character. You'll get sneak peeks of a redesigned Joker, Batman Beyond and his second Joker mode, Bane in action, an older version of Bruce Wayne, and most prominently show off some previously unseen moves for CVG's Batman. This is video is brought to you on behalf of project lead ALEXZIQ, his CVG teammates: Jmaxximus, Spooky77, DrHellspawn, and fellow project admins Spiderbat and JasonTodd. They are also helped out by SGM's Sic-1 and Super_Joker. Discuss the video at: Preview Week, Day 2

To check out the main section for the Legends of the Dark Knight project, follow this link: Legends of the Dark Knight" Batman Project

Here is a special word from ALEXZIQ regarding the video and the project: Just a little sample taste of things to come. I didn't want to give too much away with Batman, Batman Beyond, and Joker since they are all very close to release, or re-release. There are many more surprises in store when you get a chance to play them. Some things like the Screenpack, and some characters are still in the early stages so please be patient as we crawl further on this project everyday. Hope you enjoy, and Watch the Sky! You can discuss all that here: Legends of The Dark Knight Preview video!

And remember, during this time, the forum is open to everyone including guests. That is all done in an effort to show all of this off to as many of you as possible in hopes of impressing you the fans to want to be a part of our community!
