I decided to see how far i could get in Survival mode, playing the Etrigan. Here are the results.

Grudge Match: Batman & Batgirl vs Spider-man and Black Cat

Okay in a team battle, I think Spider-man and Black Cat would win in a spontaneous all-out fight. However if Batman has time to plan, I doubt that he and Batgirl would loose. I decided to see how it would play out in MUGEN.

SurviveThis: Guyver

I have two mugen characters based on the Guyver anime series. This one I got from CVG United is my favorite. Some might think he's overpowered but I disagree. It's fun steam rolling over the competition. I put the character through the Survival Mode in Mugen. And I just had to stop the recording. I kept winning! Tons of fun!

Grudge Match: John Stewart vs War Machine

I think that these guy would respect each other but if they were to fight, John's ring would make such a fight really short. Not to sell War Machine short, but he would be extremely underpowered. However, if he had time to prepare, I think he could defeat Stewart.  Here is what sort a fight might look like!

Survive This: Kenshin Himura

Thankfully, there are a few versions of Kenshin Himura out there for MUGEN. Kenshin is the lead character of an awesome Anime series. This version of the character is one of my favorites. I used it to run through survival mode and here are the results!

Grudge Match: John Stewart vs Silver Surfer

Could John Stewart beat Silver Surfer? I think it would be possible. John Stewart can make and do just about whatever he can imagine. Thing is the same is true for the Silver Surfer. I think Stewart could pull this off if he hits the Surfer fast and hard enough. This is the version of John Stewart released through CVG United. The Silver Surfer was made be by WuCash and Isela. I like this fight.

Survive This: Snake Eyes

Snake Eyes is my favorite character from GI Joe. I mean ninja are cool. Beyond dispute. This character if fun for me because it is Snake Eyes but not because it's the most complete character I have obtained, I decided to try it in Survival mode and I had a blast! IK need a lot more practice however.

Grudge Match: Isaiah Bradley vs Captain America (Bucky)

Could Isaiah beat Bucky! I think Bucky's training would be the key here and he would win. But it's still a toss up because Isaiah has more than proven himself time and again. He'll do what it takes. He could win such a fight. Here is what such a battle could look like.

Survive This: Iron Lantern

Iron Lantern is a great character from the amalgam story arc combining Iron Man and Green Lantern. I took the character through the MUGEN survival mode.This version is a whole lot of fun!

Grudge Match: Captain America vs Superman

I realize under normal circumstances there is no way  Captain America can beat Superman, however if he had to, Captain America would still try. Assuming that Superman's invulnerability (let's say Batman loans him some Kryptonite) is mitagated I think Captain America's fighting skills would win out.

Survive This: Batgirl

I wanted to see how it would be to take the Batgirl character for a test drive through MUGEN's survival mode. I had a great time. This is a great character. Here is the video.

Grudge Match: Batman Beyond vs Robin

     












I'd like to see Batman Beyond fight the Tim Drake version of Robin. It would be fun to see. I think that ultimately Batman Beyond would win such a fight. See what happens in MUGEN.

Survive This: IMT's Batman

Infinity Mugen Team's Batman is one of my favorite MUGEN characters. It is great. This is me running the character through Mugen's survival mode.

Grudge Match: Batman Beyond vs Nightwing

I would love to see how Batman Beyond would stack up against Nightwing in his prime. Thankfully we can imagine it with MUGEN. If there were a real fight I think Nightwing would find a way to win.

Survive This: Flash

I decided to take one of my favorite versions of Flash and see how well I would do in Survival mode in MUGEN. Yup, it was fun!

Grudge Match: Batman Beyond vs Joker TAS

One of my favorite animated films is Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Can you believe that it came out 10 years ago?! I decided what would happen if I stage such a battle in MUGEN.

I like ZVitor's latest version of Aquaman and it's fun to play with. I decided to try it out in survival mode. Here is the video.This character is really well made!

Grudge Match: Vixen vs Storm

I admit that I had never heard of Vixen before I saw the show Justice League Unlimited. I knew nothing about the character. But now I wonder if she could seriously beat  the X-Men's Storm. In a word....no. Well, maybe. I mean she would stand a chance if Storm was sleep or deathly ill. Don't get me wrong...I like Vixen, but Storm outclasses her in every way I can think of. I decided to see what would happen if I pitted Vixen against Infinity Mugen Team's version of Storm.

Survive This: Namor

I like this character! It is well done and I wanted to see what would happen if used in Survival Mode. It's new and I do need more practice, but one thing for sure the character is too much fun to pass up using.  Practice is fun!

Grudge Match: Captain America vs Captain America

Okay, I admit that the real Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes may be able to work out almost any conflict without coming to blows (provided that neither were controlled in some way)...but what fun would that be? I wandered who would win if they fought. In my opinion, Steve Rogers - the original Captain America would win. I mean he trained Buckey and not only that Steve could win without killing Bucky. Here is a scenario done in MUGEN.

Survive This: Batman Beyond

Batman Beyond is one of those characters that I love because it captures the television series perfectly. It manages to put you in the Bat-suit.  I wanted to see how well I could do in survival mode and the conclusion I came to is that I need a lot more practice, but that is going to be a lot of fun.

Grude Match: Batman Beyond vs Spider-man 2099

When I first saw Batman Beyond on television, I wondered if he could win head to head against Spider-man future counterpart? I think the answer is yes. I think the new Batman's gadget and fighting style would more than make up for Spider-man 2099's superpowers. On top of that, of the two men, Terry as Batman is a much better fighter than Spider-man 2099's Miguel O'Hara. I also think the fight would be quick. Thanks to MUGEN we can actually stage such a fight.
