Grudge Match: Batman (Alucard's) vs Bane

One of the epic rivalries of comic book characters is Batman vs Bane. Such a matchup never gets old. I pitted Alucard's Batman vs Bane with an update AI. I really think Batman can consistently beat Bane as long as he fights wisely and goes all out.

I ran across this link and I was extremely happy to find a patch for Bane. It does improve the character especially his AI. Go ahead and download the patch at take it for a spin. Here is a run a match I ran where I controlled Bane.

Grudge Match - Peter Griffin vs Homer Simpson

Now this would be a cool match up. Could Homer Simpson punch Peter Griffin's clock? I think Homer could. Here is a scenario staged in MUGEN.

Grudge Match - Popeye vs Homer Simpson

I think Popeye could beat Homer Simpson. But Let's make if fair and interesting. Homer has beer and Popeye has spinach. I still think Popeye would win. I staged a scenario in MUGEN.

Grudge Match - Popeye vs Peter Griffin

Personally, I think Popeye could beat the tar out of Peter even without Spinach. Here is a scenario in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: Homer Simpson vs Big Chicken

Okay, we have seen the big Chicken fight Peter Griffin, but I thought about what would happen if Homer Simpson fought the same Chicken. I think Homer would win. You might disagree but with MUGEN we can stage scenario!

Grudge Match: Superman vs Juggernaut (Acey & ZVitor's)

Let's face it Juggernaut may be unstoppable, but I doubt he could stop Superman from handing him his....um helmet.

Survive This: Homer Simpson

There happens some very decent versions of Homer Simpson for MUGEN. This one is really fun to play and his moves fit what I would expect from the television character. Go ahead and check out running the character through MUGEN's Survival mode.

Grudge Match: Peter Griffin vs Big Chicken

One of the funniest things about Family Guy is the fight and rivalry between Peter and a giant chicken. No context is given for why a Giant chicken is walking around a town, but the fight scenes with Peter are not just epic but over the top. I stage a fight in MUGEN.

There are several good versions of Peter Griffin for MUGEN. I picked my favorite version and put him through Survival mode. This character is a hoot to play with. You can download it here.

Grudge Match: Green Arrow (Classic) vs Captain America

So what if Green Arrow faced the original Captain America? I doubt he'd ever have a chance at winning. Here is a scenario staged in MUGEN with both characters under AI control.

Survive This: Family Guy's Big Chicken

There is a character that appears often on Family Guy and he usually end up violently slugging it out with Peter. Thankfully the character does exist in MUGEN. I put the character through MUGEN's  Survival mode. You download him here.

Grudge Match: Green Arrow (Classic) vs Captain America (Bucky)

What would happen if Green Arrow fought Bucky? I think ultimately Bucky would win because he would fight harder in my opinion. Here is a scenario in MUGEN.

Survive This: Popeye

I decided to see what would happen if I used the version of Popeye I had in MUGEN in Survival mode.

Mugen: Dr Manhattan

Okay, this is not the version currently under development at  CVG United, however it may keep you until their version of Dr Manhattan is released. This version only has 3 moves and is basically unable to loose. It from Japan. Feel free to download it but don't expect the greatest of experiences. Download

Grudge Match: Superman vs Popeye

I got to wondering what would happen if Superman fought Popeye and for sake of argument assume Popeye has unlimited supply of spinach. Under those circumstances, I think Superman would still win. It might be a long fight, but I just don't see  how Superman could loose. I decided to see what would happen if I staged a fight in MUGEN.

Popeye is one of my favorite non-comic-book-superhero characters. He is moral, funny, and strong (even encourages children to each spinach!). I was amazed that there is at least one great version of him for MUGEN. It is far and away one of the best characters out there for MUGEN. He was created by Derrick D. Sprite Tutorial by The Arlequin

Grudge Match: Batman (Alucard's) vs Green Arrow

I decided to see about staging a fight between ZVitor's Green Arrow and Alucard's Batman in a fight in MUGEN. These are two of the best characters for MUGEN. The fight is AI controlled.

Grudge Match: Batman (Spiderbat's) vs Green Arrow

If Batman threw down with Green Arrow, I think Batman would dominate. No question. No doubt. Batman has more training and better weapons...and more willing to do whatever it takes to win. I staged a fight in  MUGEN using Spiderbat's version of Batman and ZVitor's Green Arrow (AI control).

Grudge Match: Green Arrow vs Rorschach

Could Rorschach beat Green Arrow? I don't really think so. Not even close. Green Arrow is well-trained - better than Rorschach - and better weapons. I staged a fight in MUGEN - AI controlled.

Mugen: Acey's & ZVitor's Juggernaut

I just found out that there exists a version of Juggernaut by Acey and ZVitor.  It is BY FAR the BEST version of the character. I love it. It's fun to use and different than the other versions. It's my favorite Juggernaut.

Grudge Match: Wonder Woman vs Morrigan

I was wondering who would win Wonder Woman vs Morgan from the Darkstalkers series. I think Wonder Woman Would win. I wanted to see how such a scenario would play out in MUGEN.

Survive This: Maskedless Wolverine

There are a lot of great Wolverines in MUGEN. I like this one because it is so different from the others. This idea of allowing Logan to put on and take off his mask during gameplay is extremely fun change of pace. I tried it out in MUGEN's survival mode.
