Grudge Match: Naruto vs Ryu

I think Ryu can beat Naruto. IT would be epic, but I think the Hadouken can beat Naruto's energy move.

Ryu is one of my favorite characters of the Street Fighter franchise. So I decided to pick one of my favorite versions in MUGEN and see how long I can last in survival mode. This version fun to play!

Mugen: Akuma - Update

Akuma is the "big bad" of the Street fighter series. Just when I thought M. Bison was the most evil Akuma comes out. The thing that is really creepy is that he is very similar to Ryu and Ken. I'm not sure if he is supposed to be his teacher or fellow rival. I have found a few versions of him for MUGEN. In Japan, he is also known as Gouki.

Grudge Match: Superman vs Ryu

So, there really isn;t any other way a fight between Superman and Ryu could end: Ryu get's dropped. The best Ryu could hope for is to slow Superman down with fireballs. Ryu certainly could not hit Superman without injuring himself. The only way to level the field would be if they fought on a planet with a yellow son then Ryu would win. Here are a couple of fights I staged in MUGEN.

Grudge Match: Batman vs Ryu

Okay, who would win a street fight: Batman or Ryu. This is a tough question. For the sake of discussion, let's assume that Batman gets to use his weapons and Ryu still has his Chi and Hadou powers. In such a fight, I think it would be hard fought. Neither would be unscathed. I think that all other things being equal, we'd find Batman wiping the floor with Ryu. It won't be over quickly, but I think Batman would find a way to get past Ryu's fireballs and Dragon punch and end things. I decided to stage a few battles in MUGEN between my favorite versions of Batman and Ryu.

Mugen: Ryu

I have been playing Street Fighter ever since the first game. One of the constants between all the games in Capcom's series of fighting games is the character known as Ryu. Ryu is the go-to-guy for newbies to the fighting game genre. If you can become sufficiently good enough to be able to fight with Ryu, you can pick up and learn how to use just about any character in any fighting game. I love the way Ryu fights and all his moves. He has appeared in many games and has had different tweaks to his appearance and abilites. It's no surprise that there are many different version of him in MUGEN. Most of these I got before I started this blog, so i don't know where I originally got them from.
