Grudge Match: Batman and Batgirl vs Cyclops and Jean Grey

Now that I have a version of Jean Grey that I really like, I wanted to see what would happen in MUGEN! Personally, I think if Scott and Jean hit them hard they would win!

It's official: This one is my favorite version of Cyclops for MUGEN. Fun and more Fun. ZVitor really went all out on this one. The character controls well and is a hoot to fight with. If you haven't tired it out yet, you really need to as soon as you can!

Grudge Match: Cyclops vs Superman

So who would overwhelm who? Cyclop's optic blasts vs Superman's Heat vision. I'm not sure how Cyclops could win because I doubt his optic beams could hurt Superman, but I think they can stop/block Superman's heat vision. I(t would be a great fight, but I think ultimately Superman would win.

Grudge Match: Cyclops vs Flash

I think that Cyclops could have a chance against Flash if he could outsmart him and score a solid hit! It sure would be fun to watch him try.

Survive This: Cyclops

This is not the latest version of Cyclops, but it is one of my favorite MUGEN characters. I decided to play through Survival mode in MUGEN.

CVG United Preview Week, Day 5

All I have to say is, "WOW!"

Okay, this event is turning out to be a bigger success than we originally planned. And yesterday's big feature is still pretty shocking, Firestorm (Download him here) in Mugen, can you believe it? Special thanks to jhfer for that. Not to mention, I am totally loving the new look of Hellboy and it appears as if there is a lot more done than you think. As many of you know, Reza has been gracious enough to allow his Cyclops to be used in the Crisis Project. But what many of you probably did not know is that he has been hard at work on an update of him. This video will show off much of what is to come in the latest version that will sure to make you say that this is the best version of Cyclops in all of Mugen! Mugen: Cyclops

I realize that when it comes to the X-Men Wolverine gets the most attention, but I really Like Cyclops. He is smart. Heroic. Kind of like a big brother and a boy-scout. Also he is tragic because He can't control his power without that visor he wears. He also has more family drama than you can imagine. The comic books are filled with stories of his personal losses and relationships and they have repecurssion for the X-Men and the world. I love the fact that he genuinely believes in his mentor's, Professor X, dream of peaceful co-existence between humans and mutants. He has more than once put his life on the line and made sacrifices to protect others.

Many stories have involved time-travel and the idea that villains, like Mr. Sinister, believe that he can father a super mutant along with Jean Grey (whom he loved anyway). So much did Sinsiter believe this that when Jean was thought to be dead he cloned her and played match maker with Cyclops. Sinister may have a point because 3 characters his children from future timelines (that may or may not happen; yes X-men is confusing at times - you have got to pay attention) : Phoenix, Cable, X-man. Cable and X-man are actually the same person, Christopher Summers, son of Cyclops and Jean's clone, from two different future timelines. This allows Cable to be older than his own father! I will post about them later.

All in all, BlackJack's version is the most fun to play. Resa's version is just like the Capcom games which is also fun. BlackJack's version has AI that is really hard to beat. Here is the video of my tests.
