Mugen: Sentry

Sentry is an interesting character. Some people attempt to write him off as another cheap Superman clone. But I think it is more that. It's interesting how Marvel introduces the character as a long lost Stan Lee/Jack Kirby collaboration and then writes him into the Marvel Universe as being there since the early days of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four and Spider-man and the X-men. However the world and Sentry himself forgot about him and his powers. In case you don't know about him, here is a run-down on his powers:

Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, senses, and durability
Light and radiation manipulation
Flight
Telepathy
Resurrection
Healing

His history is problematic because they played around with continuity a lot. Here are a couple of links for more information.

Although the Sentry character is not complete, it is sill really fun. It shows so much potential. Sentry should be powerful, like in Superman's class. And the character is well on it's way. I look forward to the character's single release so I can send it against Hannibal & Kal Elvis' Superman...Just to see what happens. I need to point out that sentry is not yet available for individual release. The only way to play with him is to download the Eternity of Heroes from Infinity Mugen Team. It's only a gigbyte zip file and well worth it!
